HOPE Delivered - Updates 2020 September

InfoGraphic-HopeDelivered.jpg

We’ve been receiving hope through donations, but this has also made us channels of hope to others around us.

BENEVOLENT FUNDS

Our regular Benevolent Fund delivery runs went on as scheduled, but for these past two months, there still were days when only one person could go for delivery. This tested the ways we coordinated with the 32 patients, who were decked to receive assistance for August, to make each delivery as smooth as possible.

Delivery of Donations

Last July 29-30, 2020, our TRF Team went out to distribute donations we received in multiple institutions. We went to the Philippine Red Cross’ Muntinlupa Chapter, Martha’s Home (CALM) at BF Homes, Paranaque, Orsini Homes for the Elderly at Victoria Homes, Muntinlupa City, Canossa Health and Social Center Foundation, and De La Salle University Medical Center’s Family and Community Medicine Department. During these two-day deliveries, we were able to share hope through giving masks, gloves, and PPEs to these institutions. We want to ensure that vulnerable people, especially frontliners of our partner organizations had access to these medical supplies.

We look forward to more opportunities to share hope.

This is really a big help for our residents in the facility.”
— Sister Maricel of Orsini Homes for the Elderly

Rice & Milk Delivery (2nd Tranche)

We received a donation specifically for pediatric patients and their families. This included 25 kilos of rice for 13 families and 16 300-gram packs of Anchor Milk for 2 patients. This distribution is the second tranche of donations from Kabisig ng Kalahi. This donation has allowed us to ensure that our pediatric patients have access to rice and milk. Since TRF is working on a skeletal force, every delivery is carefully scheduled and coordinated. All the recipients were happy to receive these goods. They called and texted later that day just to show their appreciation.  Our team, Dan and Ryan, were also very happy to be able to make our patients smile that day.
