Volunteers may be awarded a “Heart” as a symbol of outstanding contribution.
Criteria for Receiving a Heart
Demonstrating initiative beyond assigned responsibilities
Providing valuable suggestions or improvements
Exemplifying commitment and excellence in service
Awarding Process
Each deploying unit determines whether a Heart will be awarded
Each unit is assigned a distinct Heart color
All awards must be documented and reported to the Volunteer Program Coordinator, including justification

Volunteer-to-Mentor Evaluation
Volunteers will evaluate their assigned mentors.
Volunteer Program Evaluation
Volunteers will also assess the overall volunteer program.
Mentor-to-Volunteer Evaluation
Mentors will evaluate their assigned volunteers.

‘Bayani’ symbolizes active contribution and dedication. This is awarded to the volunteer with the highest number of engagement hours.

‘Alab’ symbolizes initiative, passion, and going above and beyond. This is awarded to volunteers who:
Go beyond assigned tasks
Proactively provide suggestions for improvement
Contribute to enhancing processes or outputs

Mentor Excellence (Feedback)
‘Gabay’ symbolizes guidance and mentorship. This is awarded to the mentor who receives the highest evaluation rating from volunteers.

Mentor Excellence (Retention)
‘Haligi’ symbolizes support and stability. This is awarded to the mentor with the highest volunteer retention rate, based on the number of volunteers who successfully complete their assigned deployment period.
